Broadfield Stadium

The home of Crawley Town Football Club, Broadfield Stadium opened in 1997 to replace the Town Mead ground in Ifield.

The stadium can accommodate up to 4,800 spectators, with 1,000 seated in the main stand. As well as a standard football pitch, there is an all-weather seven-a-side pitch suitable for football and hockey.

Both the main pitch and the all-weather pitch can be hired on weekdays, evenings, and weekends when not in use by Crawley Town Football Club. To book either pitch, see Crawley Borough Council’s all-weather pitch booking form.

Function Suite

Broadfield Stadium contains a function suite suitable for business conferences and occasions such as wedding receptions. The suite has its own restaurant kitchen and a bar. To book the suite, ring the football club on 01293 410000.

Location and Directions

Broadfield Stadium is next to the A23 at Southgate roundabout, opposite the K2 Leisure Centre.

Arriving by Car

From the south, follow the A23 towards Crawley. About one mile past Pease Pottage, go straight on at the first set of traffic lights, and you will see Broadfield Stadium on your left, just before a roundabout. For the car park, take the first exit at the roundabout.

From the north, follow the A23 through Crawley. Watch out for a roundabout containing a giant football. Broadfield Stadium is on your right; take the third exit for the car park.

From the M23, leave the motorway at junction 11, Pease Pottage. Get in the right-hand lane on the slip road, follow the roundabout all the way round and join the A23 heading towards Crawley. Broadfield Stadium is a little over one mile along on your left.

Parking at the stadium costs £2 per car. On match days, depending on how the football team is doing, the car park can fill up long before kick-off. Some additional parking is available:

  • immediately outside the stadium,
  • in surrounding residential areas,
  • and at the K2 Leisure Centre over the road.

Arriving by Bus and Train
