• a collection point (Click and Collect) for groceries ordered online: to the left of the main building, just before the petrol station;
• toilets, including accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities: turn right immediately on entering the main building and go to the far wall;

• wheelchair trolleys;
• induction loops;
• recycling bins in the car park, to the right of the photo above.

Parking

Parking is free of charge at Sainsbury’s supermarket in West Green, Crawley:

• for up to three hours between 05.00 and 23.00;
• and for up to 10 minutes at other times.

The large car park contains:

• 20 disabled bays
• 26 parent-and-child spaces

The car park is also used by customers of McDonald’s and The Range.

Location

Sainsbury’s is just off the A23, near the busy Tushmore Lane roundabout.

Access by Car

Sainsbury’s is accessible by car only from the A23 southbound. If you require fuel but do not want to visit the supermarket, drive past the main entrance and use the next entrance a hundred metres or so further on.

The exit for car drivers is next to the petrol station. Joining the A23 southbound can take some time if the traffic is busy. When leaving Sainsbury’s please be aware of pedestrians and cyclists crossing your path as you wait to join the A23.

Access by Bus

The nearest bus stops to Sainsbury’s are:

• the Ewhurst Road stop on Ifield Avenue near the Ifield roundabout, served by Metrobus route 2. Sainsbury’s is about five minutes’ walk away, either along the path by the A23 or through West Green playing fields.
• the London Road South stop, marked on the map above, served by Metrobus routes 4, 5, and 10. This involves a 10-minute walk up London Road and along the A23.
