Sainsbury's Supermarket, West Green

The Sainsbury’s supermarket in West Green, Crawley, contains:

  • a petrol station (petrol and diesel; no LPG or electric charging points)
  • a cash machine (ATM): to your left as you approach the entrance to the supermarket, beyond the rows of trolleys
  • a Timpson franchise: in a separate building, to your right as you approach the entrance to the supermarket
  • a branch of Argos: at the far end of the supermarket on the left-hand side
  • toilets, including accessible toilets: turn right immediately on entering the building and go to the far wall
  • baby-changing facilities
  • wheelchair trolleys
  • induction loops
  • recycling bins in the car park

Opening Hours

Sainsbury’s supermarket in Crawley is open:

  • Monday to Friday: 07.00 to 22.00
  • Saturday: 07.00 to 21.00
  • Sunday: 10.00 to 16.00

Parking at Sainsbury’s West Green

Parking is free of charge for up to three hours at the Crawley branch, according to signs in the car park. In most branches of Sainsbury’s, parking is free for two hours, according to Sainsbury’s website.

The large car park contains:

  • 880 spaces
  • 20 disabled bays
  • 26 parent-and-child spaces

The car park is also used by customers of McDonald’s and The Range.

Location

Sainsbury’s is just off the A23, by the busy Tushmore Lane roundabout.

It is accessible by car only from the A23 southbound. If you want fuel but do not want to visit the supermarket, drive past the main entrance and use the next entrance a couple of hundred yards or metres further on.

The exit for car drivers is next to the petrol station. Joining the A23 southbound can take some time if the traffic is busy. When leaving Sainsbury’s please be aware of pedestrians and cyclists crossing your path as you wait to join the A23.
